Backup your sequence/project. Start eliminating parts of it until it renders correctly. Could be a misbehaving filter, corrupt clip, etc.
Re: Neverending Render
Re: Will a nvidia CUDA card speed up render times scaling a high definition sequence to mpeg 2 DVD?
Thanks Bill,
Yeah it's an HP 2009 computer with 4 cores, I see I can upgrade the CPU to a Intel Core i7-870 Processor 2.93 GHz 8 MB Cache Socket LGA1156 for about 250, and then the Ge Force for another 350..
Looks like I might be almost half way to a new computer...
I'm just on the fence as to whether the extra cost will be worth it in terms of render times...
THANKS AGAIN!

Should I color correct in Premiere Pro or something else?
Hey guys, I'm an experienced noob in digital video production. I learned on using an HD camera and Final Cut Pro 7 in my communications class. But now that I graduated, I bought myself a t3i and the adobe creative cloud. My question is, should I color correct in Premiere Pro or another suitable program (the only one I sort of know is Davinci Resolve lite)? Sure, I know it can be done in Premiere Pro, but I was wondering if there is a better alternative that I should focus my learning in for color correction. Thanks in advance!
Media export presets from CC to CC2014
Has anyone had success transferring their Media Custom export Presets from CC to CC2014?
Allegedly these are epr files.
Preset Import function in standalone Adobe Media Encoder does not know where to start looking or even give a clue...so I Explorer searched the C: drive ....and found 10,151 ".eps" files spread everywhere. !!!
Surely there is a path to ones Custom .eprs?
Anyone able to advise please?
Re: Should I color correct in Premiere Pro or something else?
Look at Speedgrade with direct link from Premiere.
Check the Adobe TV video tutorial.

I Rendered about 20 videos to different formats with AME over the weekend on 10.9.4 and so far, no errors!
Yep. The results from further testing are all positive. I've seen no purple lines or glitches on the exports. For the record, it's build 13E19.
Re: Should I color correct in Premiere Pro or something else?
Thank you I definitely will! I'm curious though, Is Speedgrade used high up in the industry?
Premiere Pro CS6: No sound importing .mts files
Hey,
My Setup:
- Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
- Windows 7 x64
My Problem:
I bought a DLSM (Panasonic Lumix G6H) and recorded five hours of footage using AVCHD 50p. I imported the .mts files into Premiere and got no sound at all. Whenever I open the .mts with VLC or WMP there is sound.
I spent numerous hours trying to find a solution for this problem, but unfortunately none of them worked for me.
At this point I'm quite frustrated, I NEVER create accounts to ask questions, because usually they are answered - but this time i couldnt manage to overcome this issue.
I already tried:
1) Copy the entire folder structure - didnt work
2) Rename the .mts to .m2ts - didnt work
3) Using the Media-Browser when importing the files - didnt work
4) Rename it to .avi - didnt work
5) Downloaded "Any Video Converter" as my last resort.. there is no option for 50p .m2ts (which might work) - not satisfying

It will do you till you get there.
A comprehensive study of CC / Grading techniques and theory ...will do more good than just learning how to work a CC Grading software application.
Re: i.link out from computer in to DV-cam?
I think these are about Windows, and I have ZERO personal knowledge of Macs

Hardware MPE must be OFF to be able to export via Firewire

Thank you very much for the help and quick replies! I'm watching the tutorials right now.

Re: I just updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014 and it can't start up
Same problem on my Macbook Pro. Wont open at all.
Re: How do I search my markers in multiple clips or files?
Mark the Clips and use the Markers Panel to view all Markers
Re: Adobe Camera Raw changes not reflecting in Premiere Pro
By every clip, do you mean every individual CDNG file? Because that is what it is doing to me when dynamically linking to After Effects, ACR pulls up every frame in the sequence, I even tried nesting.
Can you point me in the right direction to the Video Limiter Workaround? Thanks!
Re: I just updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014 and it can't start up
Yep same problem here...won't open anything. Luckily I kept the old Premiere CC installed! Any ETA on a fix @Adobe?
Problems with Pr 2014
Updated to 2014.
In general, nice improvements.
But:
1. Rendering dynamically linked Ae clips takes FOREVER. Often freezes, have to restart Pr.
2. When playing through unrendered dynamically linked Ae clips, playback won't stop. Keep hearing playback for 10-20 seconds.
3. When trimming cuts with trim shortcuts, Pr often freezes; have to restart.
4. 'Auto Save' to Cloud does NOT work -- keeps telling me I need to install CC desktop, which obviously I have done.
Is it just me?
Re: timeline won't play video, only audio
There are 2 main types of video in the project I'm editing: h.264 (MOV) from a Canon T3i DSLR, and MPEG-2 from an HDV Camcorder. None of the videos will play video in the timeline monitor, but the playhead moves and the audio plays (the video just shows a media offline graphic, although all the media is connected). All videos will play in the source monitor regardless of codec. This leads me to believe that codec issues are not the problem.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce GT 620
Graphics Driver Version: 9.18.13.3788
I have updated to the latest nvidia driver in the past week. There was another thread similar to my problem (http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/205/874787) where the guy figured out it was because he had 2 graphics cards, and that his timeline monitor was running off the wrong one. However, his description of what he did to fix it was not very clear, or at least not for my amount of knowledge.
There was another thread where someone said to downgrade to an older driver, and that didn't work either. here's a
screenshot of what it looks like when I play a video in the timeline:
Re: i.link out from computer in to DV-cam?
2394, iLink and Firewire are all the same.
If you set it up right, then yes, you should be able to output your timeline to the camera. At least, I can export out the timeline to my HDV camera.
Re: levels of audio drops (audition to premiere to final video)
I find that in the source monitor de levels are the same as in Audition. I loose 3db only if I playback in timeline.
So a simple question, What is my audio real output level, source monitor or timeline?
