The reason I couldn't export was my video layer was H264 and my lower third was a nested animation codec as well as my end graphic. I exported movies without lower third and then composited them in after effects for my final render to youtube. see here: MAR1 1 - YouTube

AME comes with several programs - Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash, maybe others. You would need to uninstall all of those programs to get rid of AME, not just PP.

This issue is so unpredictable. Last night I rendered three 15-minute programs in Open CL. The first two were flawless. The third spanked me with a vengeance.

Hey MulreanyG, I just saw this on the Quvis site that apparently, unless you download an update from them, the color transform from REC709 is inaccurate (details from Quvis below). This could explain why the DCP you tested looked dark and over saturated in the cinema. If you try again with the updated plugin, please let us all know if the results are any better.

I've seen that problem before with CS4 or CS5. At the time I was using Matrox hardware with PP. I'm not sure if Matrox caused the problem.
Are you using any additional hardware or plugins? Did everything work O.K. with PP CC before you upgraded to PP CC 2014?

Problem migrates to other stations… Moved the project/files to a faster/CC premiere station – with same results, render just keeps adding and estimates time to complete at around 10seconds for infinite time – same problem. Trying to export it to a file… un-rendered. Will post if it outputs anything – have the client in tomorrow morning – should learn to never update anything prior to a deadline. (after 30 years of adobe/avid/matrox/newtek bumps…)
add: both CC premiere stations were updated to cc2014. content that is nested in video came from a variety of sources - photoshop/.avi's/jpeg's /media renders... etc. all within the ratios for HD-premiere timeline. render problems did not occur until after the project was about 7mins. finished for a 12min. promo.

i.link out from computer in to DV-cam?
Hi,
* I have a SONY hvr-hd1000e with an I-Link port.
* I also have ADOBE Premiere PRO CS 6.0.5
Is it possible to transform the video-signal "out from the timeline" via the I-Link cable into the SONY cam?
In another term: I will use my SONY cam as a recorder using the video-signal from the computer...
One more question, is there any differens about IEEE 1394 FireWire and I-Link?

Just updated to Premiere CC 2014 and still the same issue. Video records fine. Timecode is accurate and ticking over, I just get a black preview screen.

Try right clicking on the footage in the project window and click "interpret footage" and manually change the frame rate.

Video won't play but audio will.
Whenever I try to playback my video, the playhead will move but it will stay in the frame I started from and won't play the video, but the audio will play. I;ve tryed rendering everything, restarting my computer, and cleaning the cache but none of that will work. I tried exporting the video and it played fine but it still would do the same thing when I went back to editing. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Does it have anything to do with me only having 4gb of ram?
