This would be a lot easier to do in Adobe After Effects.
Need to uninstall the plugin and make sure it's removed from Premiere 2018 preferences, then reinstall Premiere 2019.
A common task for many is to add intros and/or outros to their videos; If we've created multiple sequences in our project that probably all belong to one event and those sequences eventually become videos. What seems to be lacking is a way to apply an asset such as premiere titles, Photoshop or Illustrator graphics, After Effects compositions ect ect that we want to use as intros or outros to all of our created sequences at once. Right now I find myself having to open each sequence and manually apply the intros and outros that I want. So off the top of my head, a way to maybe designate an asset within Premiere as an intro or as an outro so that we can then select all the sequences we want them applied to and maybe right click on the sequence(s) or even on the designated asset(s) and select a option like "Apply to All Sequences" or "Insert to Selected Sequences".
When a video editor has 10, 15, maybe 20 plus sequences that will all become their own videos, a feature and option like this would save 20,30, maybe an hour plus of time when trying to quickly get distinct videos out that were part of a larger whole event. A nice little bonus might be if when the intros and outros are applied if there are transitions already applied inside the sequences then the transitions to those assets come in also at the beginning and end
So I update to CC 2019 (mistake #1) go to find footage as I always do and discover that the "Reveal in Finder" hot key that I set up from the project panel is no longer working. I double check in the keyboard shortcut editor and it's not even an option. Am I overlooking something? That could be possible because I can't possibly fathom a reason why Adobe would take this option out of the 2019 update. I noticed the option is still there when I right click. I use this option so much in my workflow that I'm already starting to feel pain in my carpal tunnel from right clicking and my world is falling apart around me haaa!. What's the deal? Is there an easier option now?
hi
so I was working on a school assignment, and was saving for about the third time while I was nearing the end of my project.
As it was saving, Premier Pro crashed completely, and now my project is gone. I can't find any of the progress I made even with having saved before.
I can't redo this, I've spent way too many hours on this. Please help me recover wat I was trying to save.
I don't even understand how this is possible. While doing the one thing you can do to NOT LOSE YOUR PROJECT, I LOST MY PROJECT.
I've tried to open it with the tab 'open files' and 'recent files' but still, all of my progress is gone. I also can't find anything on it being autosaved.
PS: I have a Macbook

Basically all i have done is warp stabilise, add the dip to black in the beginning and end, and cut about second out.
Use Finder and search for the project file. Do a search for *.prproj

I have solved this. See Update 3 below. The culprit is the Nahimic service and associated Sonic applications that install automatically with new Asus motherboards.
I'm using the newest version of premiere (13.1?), and I the whole program becomes mostly unresponsive when I change my workspace and show clips in thumbnail/icon view. If I try to double click them to preview them in the source monitor, the source window stays grey and then my playhead in my timeline becomes unresponsive. I can still play my timeline and clips in the source monitor, but no visual updates occur within the program.. Then, if I quit Premiere at this point, it stays running in the background and I have to force quit the process. I am on a brand new computer, literally just 2 days old with a brand new, clean install of Windows. The only programs I've installed are Chrome and the Adobe suite...something is seriously wrong with this version. Thought it was maybe the latest nvidia driver, rolled back to the previous one (416.94) and that did not help.
Next I'm going to roll back to 13.0 and see if the issue still occurs.
Update: Yes, the issue occurs in 13.0 too. I can replicate it literally every time by doing the above things.
Update 2: Ok, I've narrowed it down further. This bug does NOT occur when I switch to thumbnail view on the default, one-screen Editing workspace. It seems to occur when I have the project panel over to my second screen and then switch to Thumbnail/Icon view. It has to be something with moving/undocking the panel or displaying it on a different monitor that conflicts with Icon view and causes everything to misbehave.
Update 3: I found the culprit, and it was in fact NOT a bug with Premiere, however I think it is important to report because the applications responsible for this self-install with Asus's brand new Z390 motherboards (Asus Maxiumus XI Hero for me), and I'm positive there will be more people with this issue. The problem is the Nahimic service. I had no memory of installing this, so I did some looking. The very minute I booted into Windows for the first time on my new PC, I got a notification in the corner asking if I wanted to install the new Asus Armoury Crate app from the Windows Store. It looks like Microsoft and Asus have collaborated, making it easy to install a (admittedly useful) program that will help you automatically install all your latest drivers straight from Asus. It worked well and I was very pleased with it.
Unfortunately, what I was not aware of, is that by installing this app, two additional apps were installed in the background with zero notification: Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3. The nahimic service is apparently tied to these apps. They try to create radar overlays in your games so you can see which direction the sound is coming from, or something like that. There is no way to disable these overlays globally within the app, only on a per-app basis, and apparently they try to (erroneously) insert themselves into non-games too (like Premiere in my case). Disabling the service or removing the apps is the only way to solve it. Thankfully, this was easy to track down on a clean install. So...BEWARE all new PC builders! Asus is great, the Armory Crate software is great...but these pesky side apps are not. At least not until they are fixed.

Unless you have several camera angles and need the multicam option.
Hey I just went to my apple icon at the top left of the screen clicked on force quit and selected audiofilterscan. And it closed it out
This is the problem:
You scaled down the 4K to a 1080 but you are still actually playing back 4K footage.
You need to either create 1080 proxies or re-encode to 1080 in ME

Upgraded to Premiere CC 13.0.1(Build 13) today. Now after about 30 minutes of editing, preview screen just goes green.(4 times now) Audio will play but video is just a green still. Project was working fine before upgrade, and it gave me no warnings about hardware specs.
I have deleted prefs, all adobe caches, but only solution is to completely restart computer. Seems to be an issue with the video card and the new software because after it happens, ALL movies in quicktime AND on the web play a green screen. Help!

Hi Kemi
Can you share the following info :
1. Raw footage info
2. Sequence Settings
3. Are there any effects or grading effects done
R Neil Haugen I have 2 of the same Macs I use on TVC's etc. The Mid 2012 5.1 quad (8 core) macs with a GTX 680 is by no means a slouch. Only bottlenecks are the 1333 RAM and the half bandwidth SATA interfaces for internal SSD's. I don't think the problem is the hardware. Lets see what Kemi comes back with and see if we can assist

Oh, I see what you mean! Wow, that's an even better idea than the one I THOUGHT you were suggesting! Hilarious.
Please do submit it and post it back here so I can upvote it as well!

This is why it is imperative to set up the project properly before jumping into an edit.
In future create a folder with all assets placed within it including the main save file and a copy of it.
Every few mins hit CMD+S (Mac) or CTRL+S (Win) to save.
Should there be a crash you will know where to find the project easily.
Should you not be comfortable with saving every few mins (which you should get used to) please enable auto save

Premiere Pro: Hot (3345 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps
Good idea!
Reveal in Finder was moved to Application in CC 2019, so that it is now one shortcut across all of Premiere. This is why the shortcut was not working for you, as it used to be under Project Panel in CC 2018. Go to Keyboard Shortcuts > Application > Reveal in Finder (or use Search) and assign your shortcut.
Hope this helps.
