Sorry for the trouble. Have you deleted the old preferences when you reinstalled the app?
Just for a test, reset the preferences and check if the issue persists in a new project. Here are the steps: FAQ: How to reset (trash) preferences in Premiere Pro?
Are there any AfterEffects compositions in the old project file which has issues?

Hi everyone,
I have a really weird problem with Adobe Premiere 2019:
If I use speakers or headphones (on the integrated sound, "high definition audio device"), everything seems to work well. All clips play just fine, in Premiere and in Windows.
UNTIL I select a clip and choose "Audio channels". (I have two microphones on my camera, and usually just need to use left or right).
Then the sound becomes extremely weird and distorted. If I export, the audio is still damaged.
Now I've experimented with changing to another audio device (I change it in the audio hardware settings).
My other headphones are on Bluetooth, and once connected, the problem that comes from selecting just one audio track disappears.
But now I have a new problem: With the new BT headphones, sometimes the audio starts stuttering and the timeline playbacks Stutters and partially loops.
I really don't understand what is going on. Any ideas? The last problem can be mitigated by setting latency (in the audio hardware settings) to 500ms.
Still, this seems like a serious bug.
The problem persists after resetting preferences.
Here's a screenshot of the workspace as I want it to look, but as it refuses to save. (the program window is on a 2nd monitor)

There is definitely a MAJOR issue with CC 2019. It won't read ProRes off of an ExFat drive, at all. It shows up in the timeline, but it won't playback, as if the clip were an absurdly high bitrate or something that was crashing the system (but it's 720p ProRes LT).
2018 plays the exact same clip and timeline PERFECTLY.
Please fix this. For now, I'm switching back to 2018 because this is just unacceptable.

Myself and a colleague find that it crashed often.
When we are trying to stitch together multiple clips into one, we have to add one, shut and reopen to add the rest? The video doesn't include audio unless shutting and reopening?

So we're at Premiere 2019 now, 4 editions after 2015 which introduced HDR grading.
Has anyone figured out a way to display the HDR video on the secondary screen?
We've got HDR screens, we've got HDR TVs, Win10 has HDR settings, mostly for gaming but still.
I imagine I need a Quadro card since HDR would be pointless without 10bit output.
I'm not even dreaming of real HDR in the program monitor (although it seems as if the Win10 settings allowed that, bringing all the ui dark and flat like they do) but at the very least it should work with full screen Mercury Transmit :/
I have something similar; I have PPro CC 2019 and the recommended driver 411.63, does not install on the GTX 1050 installed on my ASUS portable, apparently because of shortcomings in the GPU hardware. The card has 4Go of RAM.
My immediate question is : can I downgrade to PPro CC 2018 ?

Hi Trent, thanks for the information, yes, I had left checked on the Transfer > "Copy files to Destination" checked, as well as "Transcode files to Destination" thus getting that error, once unchecked my proxy settings were created.
But one thing I cannot comprehend is why the proxy file I created is larger than the original file. from original file which is 2GB, the proxy is 8GB.

I do get a lot the following error in the event log, every 10 minutes or so.
Most of the times it appears more than once (5-15) at the same time.

I'm considering switching to DaVinci Resolve 15, I found it pretty stable on Mojave OS.
I'm having crash on QUIT issue with both Premiere Pro CC 2017 and CC (2019) on iMac 5K (2017) with i7, 32GB RAM and 8GB GDDR. It's ridiculous and my guess is this happens because Adobe Creative Cloud is not designed for mac, it's Windows Software Wrapped to Mac file system. Because of that I am also not able to install it on Case-Sensitive partition (what is it? Year 2000? Come on!)

If I try to relink any offline media (I tried it on my actual project, in my older projects and projects I got from other editors) Premiere stops working, all the tools turns into grey, but the app didn't crash, I can click anywhere, it's just doesn't responding. I have to force the shut down by Windows Task Manager.
I didn't get any error code after that.
We working right now on a bigger project, the other guy pre-edit the footage for me, then I copy the stuff from his file to mine. We didn't have any problem with that in the past few months, even he uses Mac and I am on PC. We are on the same version: 12.1.1.
After I tried to open his last file, was the first time we met with this problem. I rearrange and rename some files in the past days, but that doesn't explain why I can't relink anything in my older projects too. I deleted my cache files now, the problem still not goes away.
If somebody met with something like that, and have a solution for us, we would be grateful! Thanks!

There is a GPU glitch on Windows & Mac while using Lumetri with the latest version that is extremely annoying.
You cannot color correct anything unless turning off CUDA acceleration. It mostly affects pre-installed LUTs.

Premiere 13.0.1
Single UHD Wide Monitor 10bit RGB Full Range
Things I've tried:
Reinstall everything
Install the latest NVIDIA drivers
Rollback to official supported drivers (411.63) with CUDA 9.2 for 13.0.1
Clear Premiere settings & Cache
The only thing that worked is to change the renderer to software-only which makes everything slow.
Any news from Adobe, when will this be fixed? Right now 13.x version is completely useless even for non-production.
I've tried on multiple computers and I get the same behavior.
I can't believe this passed the QA.
There may be some bugs which will be fixed in a future update.
If you're having lots of problems, I would suggest downgrading back to CC 2018 for now and waiting for an update to 2019.
