Switching Premiere Pro Cs6 windows to Cs6 Mac
I bought premiere pro Cs6 for windows but I recently bought a mac.....how do I get to install it unto my new Mac? Do I have to buy another Premiere Pro CS6?

Why do I keep on getting "file import failure" whenever I try to import mp4 files?
Whenever I try to import certain mp4 files an error message pops up and says that there are no audio/video files even though there are. Why does this keep on happening?

I am not sure exactly what your problem is, but if all you need Ae for is text just bring the text into Pr as a alpha layer, don't take your original clip there. Or just do the text in Pr. You can use the motion effect in Pr to place the text (from the Pr titler or Ae or Ps or Ai) where you want it, key frame opacity, size, movement and or position.

Premiere Pro on a broken computer? help!
Hello, I have premiere pro C5.5 installed on my macbook pro, it is also installed on an old computer that no longer turns on. My Macbook pro is pretty much on its last legs and I am aware that the programme can only be installed on two computers at a time, Do I need to un-install it from this computer so that I can put it onto my new one? if so - how?
Or is there another way for me to get around this baring in mind that one copy is on a broken computer? I know my version of premiere is not the most recent but I am unable to replace both the laptop and the software.

Quicktime 7.7.6 installed (but it crashed before also)

How can I color mid tones in black&white footage in Premiere Pro CS6?
Hello Gurus and Adobeangels all over the world
I need some help/advise, I have some footage shot with Canon EOS DSLR and made it black&white with the black&white effect
(I tried channels too but it ended up making the footage and especially blending very noisy)
now I would like to give the video a tone and tried a color matt which works ok BUT I really would like the blacks and highlights to stay color free so that I get a clear white in the highlights.
it's probably easy or at least I hope so right now I just don't have an idea how to get there...

Hello Jeff - am I understanding this correctly that all my projects I am mid stream in wilt open in the new PR update ?
I have tried on both my mainframe computer and laptop and tried changing the names of files etc but when the new file comes up its blank with no content like starting a new project. I wish I had known this before updating both rigs.

Could you use the three way colour corrector, adjust the saturation of the highlight and shadow to zero and use the midtone to adjust the coulour.

Create a new user account and try starting Pr again from the new account. If it launches successfully, then go back to your original account and launch Pr while holding down the Shift+Alt keys. That should reset your plug-in cache and preferences. Doing that will often fix startup and other crashes in Pr.

Premiere Pro CC2015 crashing during launch
I have an Adobe Creative Cloud license started at March 2015. Yesterday during editing in Adobe Premiere, Premiere suddenly stopped working. After a quick error message it closed. If I try to launch Premiere it crashed immediately. Newest videodriver (Intel) installed; Win10, i7 processor 12mb mem. Also tried to uninstall and install again from Creative Cloud. Same issue. Help. I need to edit some video!

Use Help > Deactivate on the working computer to allow you to install and activate on a new one.

Are you trying to launch using a shortcut to Pr in the Start Menu or on the desktop, or are you trying to launch by double-clicking a project file? If the latter, then try launching from the Start Menu. If that doesn't work, then try resetting your preferences and plug-in cache by holding down the Shift+Alt keys while you launch from the Start Menu.
