Hello everybody,

I have the following problem: I would like to make a video with the following model (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adDcMhIN090&list=PLLBfuET-u-ZIHyKighx4LbOSPxy_H63uZ&index= 4&t=0s) with several pictures. The first attempt worked great too. Unfortunately, on my second try, I reach my limits. If I run the sequence in Premiere once, it looks great. However, when I pause at one point, the picture is cropped at the top and bottom. Can someone help me here, what that could be?
Photos are attached
Many Greetings

Markus

Need the following screenshots:

Preferences --> Audio

Preferences --> Audio Hardware

Preferences --> Playback

Preferences --> Timeline

Also, Try to MANUALLY delete the cache files and make sure your Cache folder IS NOT on the M2

Try also to trash preferences (Hold shift+Alt or option when launching PP)

I'm not in PPro right now, but right click the picture and the pop up option window will have an option to "make" the picture fit the video setting

I can't remember exactly which option, so experiment

Okay, I have answer.

I have connected 3 monitors at the same time 2 Dell U2414H and one TV, when I disconnect 3rd cable from TV all works fine.

I've experienced the same issue as you. I discovered my solution to be using a higher rated SD Card.

I was able to import some videos, but the longer ones especially would not work. There are free programs that will allow you to test the speed of your SD cards. Anything under 50 Mbps write speed will give you issues recording 4K video.

Another issue I ran into with the .mov files was having to transcode them before importing them. After many calls to ADOBE's worthless tech support I finally got someone to admit that they have compatibility issues with DJI codecs, and there isn't anything they can do other than use a third party converter program that left my videos looking pixelated.

SD Card                                      Read/Write

Samsung EVO 64 GB - - - - - - - 84.59/64.93 Mbps

SanDisk Ultra Plus HC1 - - - - -  43.88/24.77 Mbps

Always used warp stabilizer in projects. Yesterday, working, the effect disappeared from the effects painel.

Does anyone have any thoughts

Glitchy video in program monitor and export but raw media and media in the source monitor plays fine. What is going on and how to I fix this?

Ever since I updated My Mac to the Mojave I have been experiencing this issue in my timeline, program monitor, and exports. The raw media does not have this issue in the footage nor is the issue found when playing back in the source monitor. I have tried adjusting project settings, sequence setting, switching render from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only. Nothing seems to be working and the problem persists. It is beyond infuriating. Any help would be much appreciated. I am also working in premiere cc 13.0.3

here is a video displaying the issue: Glitchy Video and green flash frame in premiere - YouTube

here are pictures displaying my project project settings and my sequence settings.

Not a good choice at all since that machine is now almost seven years old, and that i5 CPU itself has only two physical cores. Plus, the GPU is now no longer supported at all in newer versions of Premiere Pro CC, so that you'd be permanently stuck in the glacially slow software-only rendering mode. And the Mac Mini has never been updated at all since that Ivy Bridge generation of 2012, IIRC.

So If you want it to work with 3 monitors, in the Audio Hardware, change both the default input and the default output to something other than SAMSUNG

It's not even on Import, from what I gathered it was something when trying to display footage in either of the monitors.

Our systems IT looked at the crash report. Found Segmentation Fault: 11. Which according to him is a software fault.

We gave up and did a wipe and fresh install. Everything is working fine now.

No.I chalked it up to out of memory issues. One commonality is I've had AE open along with a lot of Chrome tabs and Thunderbird email, then once Premiere exits, and I go to do something else and come back to AE, it actually crashes with a memory leak error itself.

Hi Billy,

Checked your project and can't find any issues but one.

The files are stored here: C:\100EOS_R\KEEPER\

Can you try and move the file to some other location other than C as they might increase the load time

Thanks for the detailed response! I think I figured it out. For some reason, the clip is allowing me to extend it even though there's no more footage in the clip. I took a screen recording: Screen Recording 2019-03-05 at 10.53 AM.gifhttps://cl.ly/d0cd56c70de5

The clip on the on the sequence shows it going past the bar in the effect controls. Not sure why it's allowing me to extend the clip pas the end but I guess that explains the extra space at the end.

Clear your cache and preview files. Manually.

thank you , thats what I needed to know.....Do you know of any machines that would be around $700 , laptop or desktop that would be better to edit 4k , I dont mind buying refurbished either.

set zoom level from 25% to fit, and set paused resolution to full.

I can see that your timeline is not rendered, is your renderer set to software only? if yes, change it to openCL or CUDA (Project setting --> General --> Renderer)

Try to render your timeline and see if the problem is still there
