Re: diagonal blue lines on a clip and the clip no longer plays

You might try these steps:

1. Copy the original file and give it a new name.

2. Encode it through Media Encoder to a different format (this might raise any issues or problems it detects while it's encoding).

3. Try placing the renamed/re-encoded file on the timeline; edit to fit the original location.

Let us know what happens!

Apparently, at some point Windows 'flipped' the video orientation. It's a folder I've used before for a couple different projects without issue, but this time something like 11 of 90 or so video clips were flipped. And show that way in other players.

So ... not an issue with PrPro.

If this is the case, how do you fix it?

okay kevin. (so sorry for late answer.)

I updated it, and still has same problem.

Premiere Pro CC 2019 (ver13.0.1) says, Video Filter missing:  AE.GoPro VR Reframe.

and i can't open Gopro VR Player3.0 at all.

it's says, vrmonitor was closed.

i found one thing by accidently.

When i open <steam VR> earlier, i can open <Gopro VR Player 3.0> and it works.

Well, I wish it was sluggish, because I can't even make an AE comp from Premiere now.  Great.  No menu option.

There's the Morph cut also, for a transition, etc... but I like Jim's suggestion of using a bit of B roll on it

If the media is flipped outside of PrPro in its folder,  then here's what you do.

Go to PrPro's Assembly space probably. You will need the Project panel with the bin open, and in thumbnails view is handy. Select your clips that need flipping.

You also need the Effects panel open in another pane. In the Video effects there is the Transform section. Drag/drop the Flip Vertical effect onto your selected clips in the bin.

We tried that, it didn't work. They were still flipped / scaled / cropped during export. It's also doing this to random clips now, not just the shots that needed to be rotated.

Color Management in Premiere doesn't match the export

Hello.

I'm having some trouble with my colors in Premier Pro.

I'm using the latest version of Premiere ProCC, an external Monitor (4K Not calibrated) and I just bought an external graphic card (Radeon RX Vega 64)

It is my understanding that using the "Color Management" option under file>General it's "better" (To put it simply).

Now, before I never had a problem in terms of color: What I graded and saw in my preview was pretty much what I was getting in my export but now my export is a lot less contrasty that my preview.

Is it because I'm using the color management option?

Should I not use it and grade it again or should I change some setting during export maybe?

(I'm exporting both in ProRes HQ, and H264 4096x2160  VBR  2 pass: 48 and 60; highest bit color range and and render at maximum quality) and I have the same problem.

Is there anybody that could help me with this?

or anybody that could suggest a different solution?

Thank you so much.

Update your graphics driver from the video card's manufacturer, not Windows update.

Thanks, I tried that and both my Nvidia GTX 1060 and Intel 630 had updates available Windows update didn't find.

Also, setting the project preferences to "Software only" as described in the link provided by John helped:

Premiere Pro

File > Project Settings > General > Video Rendering and Playback > (choose from dropdown) Mercury Playback Engine Software Only

However, now my Timeline Panel is stuck– no matter what I do, the cursor won't move until I delete the mp4 file from my Project Panel

thank you both!

Kevin, do you have a recommended free solution for Mac which could do things easily and in bulk?

I searched online and found many command line stuff, I need something to possibly avoid wasting time understanding, learning etc..

It's not my field of competence, and this is why people buy and use premium/Adobe solutions. They should be, IMHO, my best friend in solving this things.

You drag a file into a tool called AME, push a button and it works.

Any suggestion to quickly work on multiple files too?

basically I need these files to be bulk processed, "demuxed", so that I can be dragging the whole demuxed set into AME and push a single button to get what I need.

Is this achievable?

mogrt controls / effect-settings / essential graphis-panel

CC 2019, Pr v13.0.1 (build13) on MacOS Mojave

Hi experienced people,

Many (bought or free) mogrt files I came across have the same issue, that some of the controls in the graphic-panel or under effect-settings do not work.

For example, the position-control for the lower third is doing fine, while the font-size slider does not work. Or, coloure-picker is OK but the x/y coordinates are not affected by any value change.

I tried all "installation-procedures" like copy/moving into the corresponding library-folder or loading them within Pr under the "Essential Graphics" panel, adding the folder under "additional folders", installing the Motion Factory addon... you name it.

Also, I tried to run Pr in EN, as this in Ae often helped with non universalised Scripts...

Any hint / help is highly appreciated!

Click at the end of a clip

Hi,

i'm having some issues with my editing.

I placed an audio clip in my timeline and it came out a sort of click/crackling at the end of the audio clip. I checked out if the problem was at the source, but they seem to work properly.  Any of the two audio have a problem on their own, but when i put them one above the other they make this annoying glitch. Have you any idea what is going on? Thanks
