Re: Premiere 2019 v 13.0 crashes after 1 min

Hi Wes,

It is like you forecasted - for dual gpu systems the Intel driver makes the difference in these days. I downloaded (manually) the newest Intel driver that was available yesterday. Installed - and the crashes with 13.1 are gone.

I am not sure if I have maximum perfomance. The rig seems to need to render where Premiere 2018 (and 2016 etc.) did not, although the Nvidia monitor cleary shows that GeForce 1060 is doing the work. But I am using very old Nividia drivers right now which I downgraded to in search for a remedy.

Thanks a lot, and I will keep you updated.

Ludwig

Hey Mo - I did this...but still all red. This is why I updated to 2019 in the first place. With Premiere 2018 intact, I updated to the latest OS and I was fine for a week or so...then all of the sudden I'm in the red when it was once yellow.

We had folks posting here about setting up external fans blowing into the fan openings and sucking air out the venting side, or just plain taking off a side or something (don't know the case style) and sitting a fan blowing onto the computer.

Those things could cook GPU's right nicely to a toasty state, apparently.

Proxies having a problem attaching to media

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble attaching proxies in Premiere Pro CC 2019. The full res files were shot on a Sony FS7 with 8-channel Mono Linear PCM 24bit sound. I created the proxies using DaVinci with the audio settings set to same as source and mono.

I have 5 different days of footage that I made proxies for and all of the days link to the proxies just fine except for one, but there are no different settings that I can find that would separate that one day from the rest, and when I try to link my proxies I get a message saying "Proxy Media and Full Resolution Media must have matching audio channels."

I have tried making some test proxies for the defective day using Media Encoder and I have tried using some different codecs and settings but I always get the same error for this footage. Does anyone have any solutions?

Thank you!

Micehle what OS are you on?

Please don't say Mojave.

Endless issues with Adobe and Mojave. Safest is Sierra. I have tested a few of my Macs on High Sierra and Mojave but all my mission critical Macs are on Sierra.

I will sacrifice a little speed for reliability and stability

A half min more on a 30 sec render or 5 mins more on a 5minute timeline won't kill me but Mojave might lol

I'm surprised that resetting your preferences didn't fix that error! It's helped every other user who has gotten the alert "A low-level exception has occurred in: AdobeScope." Could you try clearing your media cache files as well?

FAQ: How to clean (delete or trash) media cache files?

I understand how frustrating this is and I can assure you there's a solution. We have an update coming out soon that will address some of the more recent issues with Premiere. In the meantime, if you share your computer specs with me, I'll personally reach out to our engineers and see what they have to say. I need your OS, GPU, CPU, the whole deal. Hopefully they have some knowledge about the software that I don't!

Thank you so much for your cooperation.

The thermal design is quite different and Apple maintains its is thermally super efficient

I test a quad and a 6 core and both ran super hot on a 45 sec min AE render with the following effects added:

1. Optical Flares

2. Twixtor

3. Particular

4. Plexus 3

5. DFT Rays

6. Reflex DENoise

7. A little grading with Color Finesse

I dont trust these machines at all

The best option would be to reshoot with a tripod.

Doesn't appear to be fixed....  Really need morph cut today, latest CC 2019 version 13.01 and stuck on "Analyzing in background". Windows 10 Pro on new Dell Laptop.

Got it. You might try putting your stock scenery on Video Layer 1. Then place your interior car footage on V2 and duplicate your interior car footage on V3. Temporarily shy your V2 layer by clicking the eyeball. On your V3 layer draw your Opacity Masks but don't invert them. Now you should have the reverse of what you want. Unshy V2 layer and add the Track Matte Key from your Effects menu to this layer. In your video effects options under Track Matte Key go the drop-down menu titled "Matte" and select Video 3. Then below put a check mark in the box next to Reverse. See if that can get you any closer to what you want.

Hi Helmholz%20Watson,

Are you free of these issues yet? I would try a test with a brand new project to see if the problem is still occurring. Install the latest version for that test. How does it work now? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thank you David! I was able to export a large file from AE instead of AME, like I normally would, and then compressed with handbrake.

DMB28,

Which effect are you trying to manipulate? Let us know.

Hi Marco,

If these are screen captures, often the audio is muxed, so Premiere Pro and AME cannot read it. You need to "demux" that audio before importing it. Several free programs online can help you with that. Demux the audio, import it, export it, then see if you have audio. Report back with results.

Thanks,
Kevin
