Did you buy it from an Adobe authorized reseller?
Where was it purchased from?

Try updating your graphics card. If that doesn't work, run the Adobe Cleaner Tool and then reinstall:
Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
Re: Unable to add effect (circle with line through it) but can delete effect Premiere Pro CS6 v6.0.0
Try resetting the preferences and deleting the media cache files.

How do I nudge the video forward a few frames to better align with the audio?
I have three cameras raw video. Camera #2 is very slightly out of sync video to audio. What is the best way to simply nudge either the audio or the video so that the lip sync is accurate?

Issue with MXF file not loading entire video (CS5) ?
Hello there. I am Using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and recently the cameras we use for the Cable Network that airs my TV Show, upgraded to Sony PXW-X160 (we were using Mini DV, so this was a nice upgrade!)
Now, here's the issue:
I've loaded the files onto my HD (including both the MXF file and the XML). For the most part everything seem to be working fine except for one which is roughly about 8 GB's / 38 mins. long.
That file plays perfectly fine in Windows Media player and VLC but only loads 26 seconds of it when editing in Adobe ?
I've worked with files this large and larger before and this is the 1st time I've ever had this issue ?
Thank you in Advance for any advice !

Re: Transparent video
I am on Windows using Premiere Pro CC2015.
I can insert an image etc behind the video, but that's not what I want to do. I want the green screen background to be transparent to overlay on my website. I believe I will export as an FLV file format.
Is it possible to leave the background empty and transparent so that when you embed it onto the front page of a website it looks like the presenter is infront of the screen?
Re: Exported File Needs Headphones on Mobile Devices
You have a balanced mono microphone which uses three wires, a +ve signal, a -ve signal and a screen you are plugging it into an unbalanced stereo input which also uses three wires, a right signal, a left signal and a screen. So in effect you have a +ve phase signal going into the left channel and a -ve phase signal going into the right. The meters will peak correctly and you will hear the sound when listening in stereo but when listening in mono the left and right channels will be combined and as they are both the same signal but of opposite phase the audio will cancel out and you will here nothing. The correct wiring for the lead would be XLR pin 1 and 3 to screen and XLR pin 2 to both tip and ring of the 3.5 mm jack. This should work in most cases but there may be variations depending on the type of powering used. A better way would be to use an external mic amp, do a Google search for dslr mic amp.

Re: Media link tool?
Why is it that I can only select one file at a time to link?
Trying to re-link a feature with over 500 clips or Proxy back to original RED files.
The workflow works fine if you have the patience to go on file at a time.
This is a basic function in FCPX and Avid.
There is also a weird SCALE bug once you get the RED files to conform.
You have to click on the scale option for at least one clip to have it conform to the new Sequence setting which in this case 4K.
I have asked this question in many professional forums and it has been avoided for months now.
Can someone here at least enlighten me as to why this link option such a PITA with Premiere.
UNACCEPTABLE customer support by adobe. will never buy again!
i find it DISGUSTING that you spend HUNDREDS of dollars on a product and you are told that the only help ypu can get is an online chat with completely useless, fumbling people who keep you on there for over an hour with no result. this is how adobe treats its customers. if you have a product that is not brand new and are a loyal customer your problems do not matter and you are not allowed to speak on the phone - not even to make a complaint! that way adobe can live under a rock never having to hear from its customers. thank you adobe - for allowing me to waste over $500 of my money on a product that does not function and that you don;t care enough to help me fix!!! i will NEVER use adobe products AGAIN.
ProRes Timecode from Pix 240 started at 0 in Premiere Pro CC 2015
So I have a Pix240i that I use to record Quicktime ProRes on. When I open the Cllips in Premiere Pro CC 2014, everything works as it should. Timecode reads properly. When I open the clips in Premiere Pro CC 2015, all of the clips start at 00:00:00:00 instead of what they were recorded at. I made sure the Timecode Preference is set to 'Use Media Source'. I see in the forums people have had issues with this in the past. Sounds like a bug. Is Adobe working on a fix?
