устанавливаю пробную версию premiere pro, программа установилась на компьютер, но сразу выскакивает окно: оплатить.. а как же демо версия обещанная?
Dustin,
You say: "The majority of the footage is 1080p, although some was shot 4K...
Then you are mixing formats on the same timeline or in the project.
Take the 4K stuff out of the timeline AND the project folders. Save and close the project. Then delete all your Media Cache and Preview files relating to this project. Reopen your project. Wait for the deleted files to rebuild themselves. Having done this, what happens now?
What I was asking for is what FS7 codec are you using? From your subsequent Sequence setting it looks like XAVC-I.
However, with XAVC-I footage when I drop that onto the timeline to auto generate the Sequence file it creates: Editing Mode: Custom. Video Preview: I-Frame Only MPEG. Selecting AVC-Intra 100 1080p or i Editing Mode, Video Preview follows.. Also try switching to I-Frame preview - but my system plays both no problem. But first remove 4K from the project.

thank you but no.. it does not apply because i am inputting the correct # (it says "serial number" directly on the box and that is what i am inputting).
thanks though.
it would help if the people on the other end of the chat were actually helpful or knew what they were doing instead of transferring me from person to person only to give me no help after an hour..
BMC and adobe... due the workflow by Davinci, that was written to extract the best from BM cameras, a good and simple workflow is :
buy with 15 euros a color vision profile for DNG bmc.
download bridge adobe.
browse to see first frame of sequence, right click on, open in camera raw
calibrate and do basic develop.
close camera raw that write metadata of develop
use dng sequence in premiere.
do you want to extract every single bit of data?
raw4pro to build proxy easely
edit premiere
export xml
finalize in davinci.
Does this require a stable and good connection?
When I installed, which took a day, I had lots of issues, it also said various elements failed, and it appeared that Adobe was trying to roll back some of my already installed software to earlier versions!
When I start up, I have to wait a very long time, and my bandwidth is hogged. Then I get lots of faces of dogs, some "can't connect to cloud" messages, and various other errors.
I don't like apps that install and get controlled by other apps, I fear this "CC" app is going to eat all my bandwidth, do things I don't want to do, and watch me whilst I do it!
So far not having much joy with even getting started with this, as my connection is nothing short of diabolical.
I found that Pre Elements 11 was almost useless as a hobbiest who creates only 2 or 3 videos a year for local groups. So I upgraded to Pro (without any discount), and now that doesn't even want to run... not best pleased.
Is it possible to do a nice clean offline install?
