I can't answer for anyone else, but my best GUESS is that the 2600k (or 2700k) is used by people building with a very low budget... and those with more $$ go past the 3770k and on to the 3930k

I used the MPEG-2 DVD default setting in Premiere. I did it 2 pass at a bit rate of 6. All of the setting are "set to source" such as frame rate, field order. Thanks.
