Well, I don't even know what happened. I do know to drag from the moniter to the timeline to get both the video and audio. I did that many times wit no results. This time it worked! The audio appears with the video. I don't know what you did to help, but I am sure grateful for reply and encouragement to keep trying. Looks like I'm back on track. I can't say how grateful I am for your help since I've been working on this for hours and and thinking I knew what I was doing.
