Ohhhh, that makes the waiting even harder now! 
Just better subclip creation alone (à la FCPX & FCP7) would make me ecstatic! Being able to drag any clip with all effects and keyfames from the Timeline to a bin for later (re)use was my favorite feature in FCP7.
