At the bottom of the effects control window, there is a horizontal scroll bar.
Also, use the left and right triangle for the effect to move between keyframes
One note though--I have noted that when I trim a clip after setting keyframes, the keyframe won't be visible, but its there. If you use the left and right triangle and watch the time line, you may note that the cursor jumps into the next clip. Just delete the keyframe.
