MKV is not supported. Your best bet is to convert to something editable outside of PR. Do not and I repeat this DO NOT try to solve this by installing codec packs like FFDShow or K-Lite, unles you want to commit suicide. Those packs often require a complete reformat of the boot disk and a fresh install of all your programs and you will still have the same problem.
