Re: Is the export of webm files possible in AME?

Hi John,

yes, that's the thread I am referring to. It would have been interesting to see what the user ExactImage has done to achieve webm encoding with the AME. I am familiar with third party software that can do the job (including firefogg and VLC). If you look at the tutorial by Jason Levine you can see that it is possible to enable AME to export webm on a Mac. Jason installed quicktime filters from the webm project and his AME adapted to that. As I work with a PC I tried to install the direct show filters from the webm project but that didn't have any effect on my AME. It would be great if anyone knew a way.

Thanks for responding!

Holger
