Re: "Legacy title" panel size changes every time I reopen

Input LUT don't show all the LUTs sets

Hello, my Input LUT (in Lumetri Color panel) only show eight LUT sets. If I open Adobe Premiere Pro>Show Package Content>Lumetri>LUTs I have three folders Creative with 65 LUTs, Legacy with 79 LUTs and Technical with 8 LUTs which is the only one I have access.

How can I access to all the others LUTs? It is a bug? Thanks!

You can delete temporary files (%temp%), the reboot. Files can probably then be deleted.

Recording Audio Problems

created by R Neil Haugen in Premiere Pro CC - View the full discussion

You have to 'arm' the track you wish to record to ...

On the Track mixer, right below the "Read: options, click the R for the track you wish to record onto, then click the red button at the bottom of the Track Mixer panel, then hit Spacebar to start moving ... and you are recording immediately. A red "Recording ..." bar will be showing at the bottom of the Program monitor.

Or ... in the track header for the sequence, on the track you wish to record onto, click the mic button, then it should start recording from about 3 seconds before where the play-head/CTI started.

You get meter signal after you start recording.

that's weird.

I don't know what you mean by 'downloaded' exactly.

normally someone shoots stuff, and then puts ext hard drive, ext SSD, SD card, CF card, thumb drive, etc. ) 'into' computer. Then in windows ( when it sees the new drive ) move stuff from ext (if you dig doing that instead of using ext stuff live ) to internal drive(s as your 'source' for shot materials.

I think that's xfer from one media to another, not a download. But nowadays I guess you can download stuff too and put into internal drives ??

A friend is sending me some 4k S Log stuff on a 64g thumb drive I sent him (usb 2 ) and it took 3 hours to put it on the drive that he is mailing me. So I don't see downloading material as a real fast way to do stuff ????

===

when windows tells me a file is in use by another program ( open ) and doesn't let me move it or delete it, it never tells me what program is using the file. It's too stupid to tell me that.  Maybe I need to upgrade windows but I doubt it, since they shove it down your throat as a 'service' these days.

If you get your workflow figured out and do things step by step it should become faster and easier and not problematic. Good luck !

So how it started I was making a new video for youtube and then I think i clicked off and went back on there it started being strange. It began to not work properly meaning it was hard for me to edit the video. The problems included the Blue bar int he editing not working untill I pressed play and Didn't show what Item I had was equiped which made it harder for me to use it, and I think lastly it didn't delete parts of a project when I wanted it to and it would show that after I moved a part of a clip.

And after a while it was finished and I tried to upload it and when I clicked the button to enable the upload to Youtube and It wouldn't let me enable it. Please help!

Create Proxies not populating in Media Encoder (h.265 source media)

I'm attempting to create proxies by right clicking files in the project window. After doing so, Media Encoder opens, but the renders don't populate. I've tried several proxy file types and tried opening Media Encoder before attempting to send files from Premiere.

Please help, h.265 files are a beast!

Cheers

Premiere Pro CC 2019 and Media Encoder crashing when selecting H.264 encoding format

Hello,

I am trying to export a project with H.264 export format but as soon as I select this format in the export settings window, I get the spinning wheel for a few seconds, and then Premiere Pro is crashing completely. It does not even say that the application is not responding or proposing to submit a bug report, the application window is just disappearing. If I try to export to a different format, the export can be done without any error (I successfully exported my project with "H.264 Blu-Ray" format).

I get exactly the same problem when I send the projet to Adobe Media Encoder and try to change the export settings to H.264 in Media Encoder (AME is crashing as soon as I select H.264 export format).

I am using the latest versions of each software (Premiere Pro CC 2019 v13.0, Media Encoder CC 2019 v13.0.2 Build39).

The project I am trying to export is a sequence 2704x1520 pixels 29,97fps based on GoPro Hero 5 Black footage 2704x1520 pixels 59,94fps.

My PC :

Windows 10 Pro v1809 FR

Intel i7-3770K

RAM : 32 GB

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 (driver v417,35)

All my drivers are up to date.

I tried to delete all cache files, uninstall all adobe applications (deleting all preferences), then ran the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe, then reinstalled everything (restarting the computer between each step of this process) : same result...

I tried to create a new project and import my project in the new one, but I get the same problem when I try to export.

In the project settings, I tried to switch the rendering system to "Mercury software playback engine only" : still the same problem.

Any help would be more than welcome !

I am having this issue choppy/drifting on both an UltraStudio Express (Thunderbolt) and UltraStudio Mini Monitor (Thunderbolt). I am using the PCI out and running the audio from the monitor to my mixer to keep things frame accurate. Running on latest version of: Desktop Video, Premiere pro 2018, Mojave via a brand new 2018 i9 Macbook Pro with Vega 20. I am having to use a USB-C to Thunderbolt Apple certified adapter. I am running direct to the device. Anyone have a fix for this?

Premiere Pro Opens but sits with a spinning wheel

Here is my issue,

I open up premiere pro and it opens to the screen where you would normally select or create a new project however it just sits there with a spinning wheel.  Below is what I have tried to do to fix it.  All other Adobe apps work.

Uninstalled/re-installed Pr Pro without uninstalling preferences.

Uninstalled/re-installed Pr Pro with uninstalling preferences.

Signing out of Adobe Creative Cloud and logging back in.

Signed out Adobe Creative Cloud and renaming the SL Cache and SL Store folders to (old).  This was a recommendation from the forum.

Note:  If I open a project timeline by double-clicking on it Pr Pro will open and I work on that timeline however the timeline playback is really jittery.

Operating system is iMac running Mojave.

Several audiotracks wont play audio

$

Good evening!

Apologies in advance for lacking words, I´m German

Here is my problem:

For a few days I´m editing a video now. I have four different audio tracks with music and special sounds like water and so on.
Five minutes ago I opened the project, wanted to continue and found only one audio track playing the music. All the other tracks are there
not muted, not to low, they are just not working. You hear absolutely nothing. Only the second track plays the music.

I deleted the none audible ones, inserted new tracks, moved them to other audio tracks but except for that one track

I wont get any sound from my clips on other tracks.

I´m starting to freak out a little since I already put so much work in that project. Bye the way in old projects which I opened just now I don't have that problem.

Is there an easy explanation? What am I not seeing here? I´m pretty sure I just switched off something without without realizing, right?

I would be very grateful for any help or advise!

How to edit a video's sound if it's mono?

So I'm new to Premiere Pro but I'm trying to edit this video that I took with my iPhone.

In the video, I'm giving a speech in class, but some part of my speech is muffled because the music I had playing while giving the speech was too loud.

The music is part of the original video, not something I added in.

I wanted to lower the background noises such as the music and the sound of doors opening & closing in class, and amplify my own voice.

I saw some tutorials on noise reduction and stuff but that doesn't work for me since I took the video with my phone, hence one mic and one sound channel.

If it was stereo, i know how to fix it, but my audio is mono. Hope that makes sense.

Is there any way to edit such a video or is this a helpless case?

Thanks.

Do have external drives hooked up to your computer?

Are any of the drives asleep?

Did you try launching Premiere holding down the option key?

Have just tried that, rolled back 2 versions to 13 Nov 2018 and still getting the same error message. Given that other users are having the same problem could it be that the issue is with the latest release of Premiere Pro 2019?
