For the "clean installation" do I have to download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and follow its instructions? Is it the best way? Thank you!!!
Remove all your Adobe CC from your C Drive or system Drive and Do clean instolation
I did the clean installation, I used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, and I could use the Premiere CC once, and now, it doesn't launch again. The message is the Windows noticed that Premiere CC has stopped. What can I do?
Hi
In my Case I install my window 7 professional form scratch and all the Desktop driver and then i install Adobe CC. Also i was backing up my system or C Drive each point after installing the software. It will take a time. Also are you using any other plug in with adobe cc. If you are then you can try to uninstall them and try to Run Adobe CC. May be on of the plug in is giving you conflict.
Did you get it to work? I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 10 and premiere won't launch
I don't know about Window 10 My operating system is window 7 professional 64bit. I have not tested with window 10. but it work for me on window 7. Pls Back up all your old system before you do any thing other wise you won't imagine what kid of nightmare you go through.
Hi,
I recenly purchased CC and downloaded all the apps I use. Photoshop and After Effects work fine but when I open premiere, it gives me this error message every time and won't launch. - [/sirreact64/releases/2013.03/shared/adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/Di rectoryRegistry.cpp-283]
I assumed maybe it was because of how I'd delted my old version of premiere, so I decided to wipe my mac and set it up from scratch.
But after doing a complete clean install, I get the same error message.
Please help!
I need premiere asap and I have no idea how to fix it.
Thanks!
I have win 10. PP CC 2015 was working fine till recent update 2 days ago. Now application wont launch. One thing I do not have is a compatible graphics card but it was working fine till 2 days ago. Now it wont launch. It throws error The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click ok to close the application. WTF! I cant find resolution I have reinstalled with cleaning and deleting preferences etc;
Neither will After Effects. All the others run fine.
Having the same problem ever since the DEC 2015 update. Premiere Pro and After Effects will not open. Reinstall does not help. Makes me wary of updating, actually.
DEC 2015 update won't open for me either.. what is the work around?
Add me to the "dead in the water" list.
Just CreativeCloud Updated Premiere Pro 2015.1
and all it says is,
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d).
Click OK to close the application."
btw - After Effects in doing the same thing.
I've reset everything, powered off everything, my drives have space, nothing else is wonky.
This box was running both apps TickityBoo...no sweat...YESTERDAY.
I work for a Marketing Company and this box
with AdobeCC is pretty much my life...
..........help..........
Like logger105, I had working PremierPro CC until the update, and now I get this error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d).
Click OK to close the application."
Given that this is happening to many users on many machines, this seems like a broken update, and not a coincidental operating system corruption on a great many different systems.
Product uninstall/reinstall or reversion to a restore point as a "maybe" fix sounds like a time-consuming experiment. Some users do not have the luxury of finding such time when projects are running behind due to non-functioning apps.
same problem here.
Everything was working fine and since the latest updates neither pp nor ae are working.
I get following error message: "The application couldn't start correctly 0x00001422"
I have deinstalled and reinstalled both apps several times.
cleaned up with ccleaner and still they're not working.
this is messed up
still no solution anyone?
Okay, folks: I got on chat the other night, and was able to get a fix. I was told that this is a "known problem with AMD processors," and it could be solved in this way: uninstall Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. When you reinstall, wait for the download to complete, and then only allow each application to install up to 90%. As crazy as it sounds, this gave me perfectly functional Premiere Pro.
Let me know if it works for you.
well as crazy as it sounds that really worked for me as well.
cc cloud now tells me theres a update availble for pp. not sure if updating won`t ruin things again...
thanks for the help!
Do Not Update! I would not do this until I heard for sure that the update includes a fix for AMD systems. I am glad this worked for you!
